| Obverse description | Bearded male bust facing right, depicted with a notably luxuriant moustache, identified as Wahbarz (Oborzos), the satrap of Persis. The subject wears a kyrbasia, the distinctive pointed satrapal headdress characteristic of Achaemenid-period Persian rulers.
