Obverse description Bare head of Apollo facing right, rendered in archaic Greek style with wavy, layered hair drawn back from the forehead and falling in loose locks behind the neck. The facial features are finely modeled with a straight nose and firm chin, characteristic of the Massalian coinage tradition. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, as is typical of hammered small-denomination silver issues of this period. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse field.
