Obverse description Bipartite Hungarian-Angevin shield occupying the central field, displaying the traditional barry of eight of the Árpád dynasty on the dexter side and the Angevin fleurs-de-lis on the sinister side. Three heraldic lilies (fleurs-de-lis) are disposed around the shield in the field. The entire design is struck on an irregular flan with a beaded or toothed inner border, characteristic of mid-14th century Hungarian hammered coinage.

Reverse description A large, stylized fleur-de-lis (lily) prominently displayed in the central field, its three lobes radiating upward with globular finials, flanked by smaller decorative elements in the field. The design is enclosed within a beaded border following the irregular contour of the flan, consistent with the Angevin dynastic heraldry favored under Louis I of Hungary.
