Obverse description Facing crowned royal bust rendered in crude hammered style, the crown depicted with a simple tiered or stepped form. Flanking the bust on either side is a double cross, their arms extending toward the coin's periphery. A crescent appears above the head in the upper field. The design is executed in the characteristic archaic manner of early Árpád-dynasty coinage, with no legend.
