Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in archaic-transitional Greek style characteristic of the Argolid region. The hair is depicted in tight, layered curls bound by a laurel wreath, with fine die-engraving detail visible across the facial features. The portrait occupies the full flan with a plain, unlettered field surrounding it. The youthful, idealized visage displays a slightly pointed chin and well-defined brow ridge consistent with late 4th to early 3rd century BC Peloponnesian coinage.
