Obverse description Pegasus in flight to right, with wings spread and forelegs raised, rendered in archaic style within a dotted border. The mythological winged horse is depicted with fine detail in the musculature and feathering of the wings. The partial ethnic inscription appears in the left field.

Reverse description A palm tree with fronds spreading from the central trunk, enclosed within a linear square frame bordered by a row of dots, all set within a shallow incuse square. The palm tree is the civic symbol of Skepsis in the Troad, rendered in a stylized but recognizable manner typical of late 5th to early 4th century BC Asia Minor coinage.
