| Obverse description | A dove rendered in left profile occupies the central field, its wings raised and spread in a characteristic display posture. The bird's plumage is rendered with fine incised detail, and its talons grip what appears to be a low groundline. The composition is enclosed within a plain incuse border, typical of Sikyonian silver coinage of the fourth century BC. The die work reflects the accomplished engraving style associated with the Peloponnesian mint tradition of this period. |
