| Obverse description | Two dolphins depicted in opposing directions within a plain circular field, one swimming to the right above and one to the left below, rendered in compact archaic relief characteristic of Thasian coinage. A pellet appears in the lower field between the two marine creatures, serving as a compositional filler element. The dolphins are modelled with naturalistic fluency despite the diminutive flan, with clearly articulated fins and curved bodies. No legend or inscription is present. |

| Reverse description | Quadripartite incuse square occupying the full reverse field, formed by two intersecting raised ridges dividing the depression into four recessed compartments of roughly equal size. The incuse is deeply struck and asymmetrical, consistent with the hand-hammered production technique typical of archaic Greek fractional silver coinage. No inscription or additional device appears within any of the four compartments. The flan edges are irregular, reflecting the crude planchet preparation of the period. |
