| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in archaic Greek style with flowing locks of hair falling before the neck. The laurel wreath is clearly delineated across the brow, and the facial features exhibit the characteristic schematic treatment of late 5th-century Aeolian coinage. The flan is irregular, as typical of hammered silver issues of this period. |

| Reverse description | Ram standing left on a ground line, depicted with a woolly fleece rendered in careful detail, within a shallow incuse square. The ethnic inscription ΝΕΑΝ is distributed in the field around the animal, with individual letters placed in the upper and lower portions of the incuse square. The type references the civic identity of Neandria and its pastoral symbolism. |
