| Reverse description | Forepart of a bull striding right, head turned frontally, set within a recessed square incuse punch. The musculature of the bull's chest and forelegs is rendered with fine striated lines, and a row of pellets or beaded border is visible along the left edge of the incuse square. The design is deeply impressed into the flan, typical of the hammered incuse technique employed at Carian mints during the early Classical period. |
