Obverse description Horseman advancing to the right, depicted in a dynamic pose astride a galloping horse; the rider appears to brandish an object overhead. The entire central device is enclosed within a border of pellets, a characteristic feature of Cilician fractional silver coinage of the fourth century BC. The surfaces retain the irregular flan typical of hammered obol-weight issues from this region.
