Obverse description Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in archaic Greek style with flowing beard and wild, textured hair adorned with a wreath of olive leaves. The portrait displays strong, deeply cut features characteristic of Elean coinage of the mid-4th century BC. The flan is irregular, typical of hammered silver issues of this period.
