| Reverse description | The reverse depicts the personification of Victory advancing to the left, shown in full figure wearing a flowing garment, holding a laurel wreath in her extended right hand and a palm branch in her left. A letter appears in the left field, and the officina numeral I over a palm branch occupies the right field. The exergue carries the Lugdunum mint mark LVGP with a terminal pellet, identifying the first officina of that mint. The encircling legend SECVRITAS-REIPVBLICAE, proclaiming the Security of the Republic, is rendered in clear Latin capitals. |
