Reverse description Anepigraphic type depicting the she-wolf of Rome standing to the left, her head turned back to suckle the twin infants Romulus and Remus, who are shown recumbent beneath her. Two stars appear in the upper field flanking the wolf's back, symbolizing the divine origin of the founders. The exergue bears the mint mark SCONST, identifying the second officina of the Arelate mint.
