Obverse description Laureate, cuirassed bust of Maximinus Daia (Maximinus II) facing right, rendered in the official Tetrarchic portrait style with pronounced military dress visible at the truncation. The legend encircles the effigy along the periphery of the flan. The coin shows significant patination consistent with its age, with the portrait displaying the characteristic bold, angular facial features associated with late Roman imperial coinage of the Diocletianic reform period.
