Reverse description The Genius of the Roman People (Genius Populi Romani) stands facing left, nude save for a chlamys draped over the left shoulder, wearing a modius (grain measure) on his head. He extends his right hand to offer a patera (libation bowl) and holds a cornucopia in his left arm, symbolising abundance and divine favour. The encircling legend GENIO POPV-L-I ROMANI runs around the field. In the exergue, the mint mark denotes the Thessalonica officina (•TS• with officina letter Γ, Δ, or Є), confirming the coin's origin. A beaded border encloses the composition.
