| Obverse description | Bust of Licinius II as Caesar facing right, helmeted and cuirassed, with a youthful, beardless effigy. The emperor is depicted in military dress, the armour rendered with characteristic detail of the period. The encircling Latin legend reads LICINIVS NOB CAES, identifying him as Noble Caesar. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show considerable wear and patination consistent with circulation. |

| Reverse description | A vexillum or military standard displayed upright in the centre of the field, inscribed VOT X on its banner, flanked by two captives seated at its base with their arms bound behind them, rendered in the convention typical of Constantinian-era martial reverses. The reverse legend VIRTVS EXERCIT, invoking the virtue and courage of the army, is distributed in the field to left and right of the standard. The mint mark in the exergue identifies the Ticinum workshop. The overall composition, though worn, retains the essential iconographic programme celebrating imperial military authority. |
