| Reverse description | Two winged Victories, draped and facing one another, jointly supporting an inscribed votive shield resting upon a tall column, the shaft of which bears a letter denoting the officina. The reverse legend VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP VOT PR C reads around the field, proclaiming the joyful victories of the eternal princes and the vow offering. The composition is symmetrical and formally rendered in the late Roman imperial workshop style, with the Victories positioned in mirror image flanking the central column. |
