Reverse description The reverse features the votive legend VOT V inscribed within a laurel wreath, the two lines of text occupying the upper and lower halves of the wreath's interior respectively. The wreath is tied at the base with a pellet or crescent ornament. The surrounding circular legend CAESARVM NOSTRORVM proclaims the vow on behalf of the Caesars, while the exergue carries the mint mark TSεVI, denoting the sixth officina of the Thessalonica mint. This reverse type, common to both Licinius II and Crispus under the joint reign, commemorates the quinquennial vows for the fifth anniversary of their Caesarships.
