| Obverse description | Helmeted, cuirassed bust of Licinius II as Caesar facing left, depicted in military attire with detailed armour rendering characteristic of Tetrarchic and early Constantinian coinage. The effigy shows the young Caesar wearing a crested helmet with visible cheek-guards, the cuirass decorated with pteryges visible at the shoulder and chest. The encircling Latin legend reads D N VAL LICIN LICINIVS NOB C, interrupted by the portrait, and is contained within a beaded border. |
