| Reverse description | The Genius of the Roman People (Genius Populi Romani) stands facing left, nude save for a chlamys draped over the left shoulder, wearing a modius (grain measure) on his head. In his right hand he holds a patera from which he pours a libation, and in his left hand he bears a cornucopia symbolising abundance and prosperity. The reverse legend GENIO POPV-LI ROMANI encircles the type, and the officina letter and mint mark HT (for Heraclea) appear in the exergue, identifying one of the five officinae active at this mint during the Diocletianic reform coinage. |
