| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Dalmatius facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial style typical of the Constantinian period. The portrait displays the youthful features of the Caesar, with the laurel wreath denoting his imperial rank. The obverse legend encircles the bust, identifying the subject by name and title. The flan is irregular and slightly dumpy, consistent with hammered bronze coinage of the period. Surface patination and wear obscure finer die details. |

| Reverse description | Two helmeted Roman soldiers standing facing one another, each in full military dress and resting on a grounded spear, with a single legionary standard bearing a Chi-Rho finial placed centrally between them. This is the single-standard variant of the GLORIA EXERCITVS type, associated with the later issues of this series from circa 335 onward. The reverse legend is divided across the field, and the mint mark AQS appears in the exergue, denoting the second officina of the Aquileia mint. The composition conveys imperial military strength and dynastic solidarity. |
