| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Crispus facing right, depicted with finely detailed hair beneath the laurel wreath and articulated armour at the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the Constantinian court style, with a strong, youthful profile characteristic of Crispus’s portraiture. The circular legend reads CRISPVS NOB CAES, divided on either side of the bust, and the whole is enclosed within a beaded border. |
