Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Crispus facing left, rendered in the official Constantinian portrait style. The laureate wreath is clearly visible encircling the head, with drapery over the left shoulder and cuirass detailing on the chest. The encircling Latin legend reads FL IVL CRISPVS NOB CAES, identifying the subject as Flavius Julius Crispus, Noble Caesar. The portrait conveys youthful authority consistent with Crispus's elevated status as Caesar under his father Constantine I.
