| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Crispus facing right, rendered in moderately high relief with characteristic early Constantinian portraiture. The effigy displays finely striated hair beneath the laurel wreath, with paludamentum draped over the left shoulder. The surrounding Latin legend, divided by the bust, reads IVL CRISP-VS NOB C or IVL CRIS-PVS NOB C, identifying the subject as Julius Crispus, Noble Caesar. A beaded border frames the entire obverse field. |
