| Reverse description | A globe set upon a rectangular altar inscribed with VOT IS XX, symbolizing vows taken for the twentieth anniversary of Constantine's reign; three stars appear in the upper field, one to each side and one directly above the globe. The reverse legend BEATA TRANQVILLITAS, meaning "Blessed Tranquility," arcs across the field, referencing the peace and prosperity of the empire. The exergue contains a dot followed by the officina letter and the mintmark, denoting the workshop of issue at the Trier mint. The composition is a standard Constantinian votive type, combining celestial and dedicatory imagery in a formal, symmetrical arrangement. |
