| Obverse description | Draped and cuirassed bust of Crispus, laureate, facing right, wearing the trabea (triumphal robe) and holding an eagle-tipped sceptre in the right hand. The legend encircles the bust, identifying the subject as Julius Crispus in his rank of noble Caesar.
