Reverse description A tall altar or tribunal, viewed frontally, supports a globe surmounted by a star upon its top surface; three stars are distributed above in the field. The face of the altar bears the votive inscription VOT/IS/XX arranged in three lines within a panel, flanked by decorative elements. The mint mark PLG appears in the exergue, with the field letters C and R to either side of the altar. The encircling legend proclaims BEATA TRANQVILLITAS, a propagandistic declaration of blessed tranquility under Constantine's dynasty, all contained within a beaded border.
