A globe surmounts the altar, and three stars are disposed symmetrically above in the upper field, flanking the globe. The reverse legend BEATA TRANQVILLITAS arcs around the upper periphery, invoking the concept of blessed tranquillity. The mintmark PLON appears in the exergue, denoting the first officina of the Londinium mint. |
