Reverse description A tall, inscribed votive altar or tetrapylon occupies the centre of the field, its face bearing the dedication VOT / IS / XX in three horizontal registers, surmounted by a globe resting on its upper platform. Three stars are distributed across the upper field, one above and flanking the altar. The mintmark PLON appears in the exergue, identifying the Londinium mint. The reverse legend encircles the design within a beaded border, invoking the blessings of peaceful tranquillity.
