Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing left, portrayed as a youthful Caesar. The effigy displays finely rendered drapery over the shoulder and a decorative cuirass with visible paludamentum folds at the truncation. The surrounding Latin legend reads FL IVL CONSTANTIVS NOB C, identifying him as Flavius Julius Constantius, Noble Caesar. A beaded border frames the design.
