Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II as Caesar facing left, rendered in the Constantinian imperial style with finely detailed drapery and paludamentum visible at the truncation. The laureate wreath is clearly articulated, and the cuirass shoulder-piece is depicted with scale-like detail. The encircling Latin legend reads FL IVL CONSTANTIVS NOB C, naming the future emperor in his role as Noble Caesar. A beaded border frames the entire obverse field.
