Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing left, rendered in the official Constantinian court style with finely engraved hair beneath the laurel wreath. The cuirass is visible at the shoulder with paludamentum fastened by a fibula at the chest, and the drapery falls naturally across the left arm. The portrait exhibits the youthful, idealised features characteristic of Constantius II as Caesar. The circular legend runs clockwise around the periphery, bordered by a beaded inner rim.
