Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair beneath a laurel wreath. The cuirass is visible at the shoulder, decorated with elaborate fibula and paludamentum. The legend encircles the effigy along the beaded border, identifying the young Caesar by name and title.

Obverse lettering CONSTAN-TINVS AVG
Reverse description A Roman camp gate rendered in profile, comprising two flanking turrets rising above a battlemented wall and an arched gateway without doors; a star appears between the turrets in the upper field. The structure is depicted with multiple horizontal courses of masonry, the number of which varies by die. The mintmark and officina letter appear in the exergue, identifying the emission as struck at Treveri.
