| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing right, depicted as Caesar, with finely rendered layered hair beneath the laurel wreath and paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The portrait exhibits the typical late Constantinian stylistic convention of a youthful, idealized effigy. The obverse legend runs clockwise around the periphery within a beaded border. The overall execution is consistent with the Constantinopolitan workshop's characteristic workmanship of the mid-330s. |
