| Reverse description | Two helmeted, draped, and cuirassed soldiers stand facing one another, each grasping a spear in the outer hand while resting the inner hand upon a grounded shield. Between the two figures rise two military standards, the iconic GLORIA EXERCITVS type introduced under Constantine I. The reverse legend is divided across the field on either side of the central device. The mintmark and officina letter appear in the exergue, identifying the issue's place and workshop of production. |
