| Obverse description | Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing right, rendered in the characteristic late Roman imperial style. The emperor's portrait is executed in low relief with a pearl diadem visible across the brow. The encircling Latin legend reads CONSTAN-TIVS AVG, identifying the emperor. The flan is irregular, as is typical of struck bronze coinage of this period, and the coin shows a heavy patination obscuring fine surface detail. |

| Reverse description | Two helmeted and armored soldiers standing facing one another, each resting their inner hand on a grounded shield and holding a spear in their outer hand. Between the two soldiers stands a single military standard, consistent with the later GLORIA EXERCITVS type bearing one standard rather than two, as issued from AD 337 onward. The reverse legend GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS, meaning 'Glory of the Army,' appears in the field around the central device. The mintmark, including the SMAN prefix of the Antioch mint, appears in the exergue. |
