Obverse description Bare-shouldered draped bust of Constantius II facing right, wearing a pearl diadem composed of a double row of beads tied at the back with a decorative rosette. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the characteristic Constantinian court style, with fine facial features and neatly striated hair visible beneath the diadem. The encircling Latin legend runs from left to right across the field, naming the emperor with his imperial titles.
