Reverse description A helmeted, draped, and cuirassed Roman soldier strides left, dominating the reverse field in a dynamic military composition. The soldier thrusts a spear downward with his right hand into a fallen enemy horseman, while his left arm bears a large round shield; an additional shield lies on the ground to the right. The barbarian horseman is depicted bareheaded, facing the advancing soldier and raising his left hand in a gesture of defeat or supplication, a motif symbolizing Roman military supremacy and the restoration of good times. The legend FEL TEMP - REPARATIO flanks the central scene, and the exergue bears the officina letter and mintmark of the Treveri mint, followed by a crescent.
