Obverse description Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing left, wearing a pearl diadem with a distinctive jewelled rosette ornament. The emperor is depicted in military attire with elaborately decorated pauldrons visible at the shoulder. The circumferential legend reads D N CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVG, broken by the bust, and is set within a beaded border. The portrait displays the characteristic late Roman imperial style with finely engraved hair rendered in parallel lines beneath the diadem.
