| Obverse description | Right-facing bust of Constantius II, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed, with the imperial paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The emperor wears a distinctive pearl diadem with a central jewel, and the cuirass is rendered with carefully engraved horizontal bands. A fibula or brooch is visible at the right shoulder securing the drapery. The legend D N CONSTANTIVS P F AVG (Dominus Noster Constantius Pius Felix Augustus) runs clockwise around the periphery in crisp Latin capitals. |
