Reverse description Standing frontal figure of Constantius II, diademed, draped and cuirassed, head turned to the left, holding a military standard bearing a Chi-Rho (Christogram) on its banner in each hand, symbolizing the emperor's Christian devotion and his role as commander of the army. A star appears in the upper field above the emperor's head. Control letters are placed across the fields, flanking the central figure. The mintmark and officina letter appear in the exergue, enclosed between two dots. The composition reflects the CONCORDIA MILITVM (Unity of the Army) reverse type common to the Thessalonica mint during this period.
