Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II as Caesar facing right, rendered in the late Constantinian style with characteristic fine portraiture. The laureate wreath crowns the effigy, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder and segmented cuirass articulated below. The circumferential Latin legend encircles the bust within a beaded border, proclaiming his rank as Nobilissimus Caesar.

Reverse description Two helmeted soldiers, each draped and cuirassed, stand facing one another in a symmetrical composition; each figure holds a reversed spear in the outer hand and rests the inner hand upon a grounded shield. Between the two soldiers stand two military standards, emblematic of legion pride and imperial unity. The legend GLORIA EXERCITVS is divided across the field, with the mint mark and officina letter appearing in the exergue below.
