Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantius I (Chlorus) facing right, rendered in high relief with fine detailing of the laurel wreath, military cuirass, and paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The emperor is depicted with short hair and a close-cropped beard, conveying an authoritative and martial character consistent with Tetrarchic portraiture. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP CONSTANTIVS P AVG, set between an inner beaded border and an outer toothed rim. The portrait displays the bold, somewhat stylized aesthetic characteristic of the Diocletianic reform coinage struck at the Treveri mint.
