| Obverse description | Laureate and bearded bust of Constantius I (Chlorus) as Caesar, facing right, with short hair and a full beard rendered in fine detail. The laureate wreath is prominently modelled with large, clearly defined leaves tied at the nape. The portrait is rendered in the robust, forceful Tetrarchic style, with strong facial features and a thick neck. The surrounding Latin legend reads FL VAL CONSTANTIVS NOB CAES, distributed around the periphery of the field. |
