Obverse description Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine II (Caesar) facing right, rendered in the military portrait style characteristic of Constantinian-era bronze coinage. The effigy displays a crested helmet and layered cuirass, conveying an idealized martial image of the young prince. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, identifying the subject by name and rank. The portrait, though struck on an irregular flan, retains the strong relief typical of Londinium workshop production. The field is otherwise plain.
