| Obverse description | Helmeted and draped bust of the personification of Constantinopolis facing left, rendered in the allegorical tradition of city-goddess imagery. The figure wears a crested helmet and is shown in profile, with a scepter resting on the left shoulder. The legend CONSTANTINOPOLI is inscribed around the periphery in Latin capitals.
