Reverse description A globe or sphere set upon a stepped altar, the front face of the altar inscribed in three horizontal lines reading VOT / IS / XX, commemorating vows for the twentieth regnal anniversary. Three stars are disposed above the globe in the upper field, one centrally and one on each side. The control letters P-A are distributed across the left and right fields respectively. The mint mark PLON, identifying the Londinium mint, appears in the exergue. The reverse legend BEATA TRANQVILLITAS encircles the design, invoking the theme of Blessed Tranquillity, a motif widely employed on Constantinian bronze issues of this period.
