Obverse description Veiled, draped, and cuirassed bust of the deified Constantine I facing right, rendered in the posthumous commemorative style with a distinctive veil covering the head and falling over the shoulders, indicative of consecration iconography. The effigy displays the emperor's characteristic strong profile with a prominent nose and firm jaw. The surrounding field carries the Latin legend DV CONSTANTI-NVS PT AVGG, identifying the subject as the Divine Constantine, father of the Augusti. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, consistent with hammered late Roman small bronze production. A beaded or denticulate border frames the design.
