Obverse description Laureate head of Constantine I facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair arranged in layered rows beneath the laurel wreath. The emperor's bust is bare, displaying a strong, idealized profile with a prominent nose and firm jawline characteristic of Constantinian portraiture. The obverse legend is disposed in two segments around the periphery of the flan, reading CONSTAN-TINVS AVG. The overall style reflects the robust, somewhat abstracted treatment typical of the Arelatum mint during the mid-320s.
