Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine I facing right, portrayed with youthful features and finely rendered hair beneath the laurel wreath. The emperor wears a paludamentum draped over the left shoulder, with the armoured breastplate visible at the truncation. A beaded border encircles the design. The peripheral legend reads CONSTANTINVS PF AVG, identifying the emperor with his titles of Pius Felix Augustus.
